Jessica Welch,
trainer for Redmont Farm has been working with horses for twenty years,
As a junior rider, Jessica competed and groomed at major midwest horse
shows. During college she was fortunate to work for Dr. Egon Kamarsy in
Illinois, training and showing his young Hungarian Warmbloods. Moving
to the Shenandoah Valley allowed Jessica time to concentrate on working
with foals and starting young horses and ponies. Jessica was taught to
ride and train by many accomplished horseman as well as the many horses
and ponies she has worked with.
Jason and Jessica met in the fall of 2005. Jason has now become a horse person, but prefers to stay on the ground helping with two year olds in the round pen and farm maintenance.
